Papua is an island as well as Indonesia’s largest province, Papua is located on Papua Island or the easternmost part of Indonesia’s Papua region. The eastern part is a state of Papua New Guinea. The province of Papua used to cover the entire western part of Papua, but since 2003 it has been divided into two eastern provinces with the name Papua while the western part is West Papua. Papua has an area of 808,105 sq km and is the second largest island in the world and the first largest in Indonesia.
When viewed from the characteristics of the culture, livelihood and lifestyle, the indigenous Papuans can be divided into two major groups, namely the mountain or inland Papua, highlands and lowland and coastal Papua. The traditional religious beliefs of the Papuan people are united with all aspects of life, they have the view that nature and spirituality are two inseparable things.
The original tribe in Papua consists of 25 tribes, with different languages. The famous tribes are:

Papua has a beautiful natural, vast mountainous nature and is full of natural wealth in it, like a mining area currently managed by Freeport. Papua also has enormous tourism potential, Raja Ampat, Lorentz National Park and Wasur National Park. Papua is also endowed with a group of beautiful islands such as Raja Ampat tourist area.
